ART AND GRIEF

Grief is not linear; it is a process. Use the creative process to access perspectives, archetypal energy, symbolism, and your individual grief landscape. Process painting is  a technique that involves painting on the same canvas from session-to-session, and documenting its progress and transformation, typically through photography.

 

Grief is my specialty. As a Certified Compassionate Bereavement Care Provider (CBC) from the MISS Foundation, I bring authenticity, empathy, and attunement to my space and to the individuals who walk through my doors. Allow your grief story to unfold and be held by your art process.

WHO CAN JOIN?

The group is for adults who would like to explore their experience of the death of a loved one through creative expression. No experience with materials is necessary. This group is process-oriented! It is limited to the first six registrants.

WHAT'S THE FORMAT OF THE GROUP?

Group members will check in, paint for up to 90 minutes, and then process their painting experience with the group.

WHAT'S THE COST AND WHAT'S INCLUDED?

The cost is $300 for the six sessions. At the time of registration, $50 is required to reserve your spot. This will be applied toward your first group session. Group members may then pay weekly, or in one lump sum.  Access to all the high-quality art materials required for participation is included.

WILL YOU RUN A SIMILAR GROUP FOR CHILDREN?

A group for children and a group for adolescents are both in the works. If you'd like to be notified about the groups, you can request to be on the email list by emailing me at caitlin@caitliniannucci.com

HOW DO I SIGN UP?

Email me at caitlin@caitliniannucci.com to reserve your spot. We will determine together by phone to ensure good fit for the group. Once registration is secured, I will send you some paperwork to complete prior to the start of the group.
